Man I have zero idea for a couple of reasons.

1. I have no idea how to evaluate any goalie independently outside of their team nearly as well as Dmen or forwards and NHL scouts and experts seem to have the same problems.

2. If a position player is elite they can be brought into NHL lineups rather easily as there are 12 forward and 6 Dman spots for NHL games.

there is only one goalie spot in NHL games and a guy like Knight might get stuck behind a guy like Bob and maybe lose confidence and or development improvements.

I'm a Panthers fan and I love Knight, but Sorokin is soooo good. I think he'll be right up there with Shesterkin. He's also nhl ready so he's easier to evaluate. Knight and Askarov have more developing to do, but I think they will both be top 20 goalies in the league soon too.

Hard to evaluate the three but I’d lean the younger two just because of how much better they were at the same age. Before the year started, I would’ve had Askarov as the no brainer between Knight and him, but Knight was really good this year. I’d still lean Askarov, but it’s close.

Going Askarov then Sorokin due to both of them playing in the KHL at 18 and posting great numbers there meanwhile dominating the NTDP and NCAA is less of an feat
