Merzlikins is better and signed longer, however Elvis has been struggling a bit this year at some points I think. Haven't followed him closely enough. IF Columbus thinks his struggles might continue, and they want to basically dump Elvis and roll with Tarasov Vejmelka, that would give them cap and roster flexibility long term. That might be a very big IF though. Columbus fans can tell us. My best guess would be CBJ fans say no or h3ll no.

? Why? Vejjie has been pretty consistent, and is cheaper. I would even say that Elvis is not better. Rather upgrade Ingram, which we can't do without putting him on waivers. Just think, why are the Coyotes currently in 9th in the west? Give some credit to the goalie.
