After Deboer publically shamed Brossoit for his performance & went with Thompson for the last 2 starts (insert sword tweet here), they're probably looking to move him to save cap next season. Lehner is expected back during the regular season...until he slips on a banana peel.

Vegas will probably be looking for a pending UFA goalie.

That seems like an offseason thing but yeah he could be out there. A couple guys could become available like Blackwood and Samsonov. Those are a couple of guys that might need a change of scenery. Georgiev will move at some point.

Pretty sure Dorion said something along the lines of how Forsberg would be their starter for the rest of the season. I think they're going to attempt to sign him and bury or LTIR Murray.

FOrsberg has been money for the Sens this season and its not looking like he'll be available.

I assumed they have to be actuall NHL level goalies. Gilles is not lol. Yes he is somehow / for whatever reason is playing but he is not a NHL goalie at all . Think along the lines of way worse than Dell . If you want to tank though , he is your man . Gives up at least 3-4 expected save goals per game.

I could see Gibson, after losing Lindholm, Manson, Deslauriers, probably Rakell, & who knows who else, quoting Denis Lemieux (Slapshot) & telling Verbeek "Trade me right farking now..."

The Ducks could/should be a powerhouse in a few years ... but ... he's already ridden out a few years of a miserable team (an argument could probably be made that he cost them higher draft picks by being so good & winning games they had no business winning...but that's a different discussion), I can easily see where he wouldn't want to spend the next 2-4 years getting shelled nightly.

And with Dostal developing right in line with all the young blood that the Ducks are getting, this might not be a bad thing. Stolarz would be serviceable on a rebuilding team, letting Dostal be the backup/1B & getting experience without being totally thrown to the wolves.
