Normally I'd agree. But with this lineup? If this was the lineup they were forced to play the entire season with--they'd probably be floundering down around the level of the Sharks and Hawks.

Nothing against Pius Suter--who's had a great year. But if he's centering your number one line, forget about it. And they have two games left with Vegas and one with Colorado.

Would be a real bonus if they could 'lose out' for a change. It would at least make the draft simulator a lot more interesting.

The canucks swept the LA road trip during Mathews draft with the 2015-16 roster. It's the canucks thing to do.

At least they're 'trying'. But players are just not wired for the'tank'. It's not in their DNA. They're too competitive--but I guess it's that drive that got them to the NHL in the first place. So what can you do?
