This will be an interesting game at a deeper level. The Miller thing.

There will be an additional level of intensity I think, the Rangers might step it up for Miller and the playoff race they are mired in.

Both teams are in the same position with the big difference that the Rangers came from way out of the race to the being right in the middle of the hunt.

It might be a heated game. Could be the most physical game so far this year. Miller knows the Canuck players, what pisses them off and how to get under their skin, he knows them maybe better than the coach. The Rangers have Rempe, disposable. I could see the Canucks putting Garland on him all night just for the optics of if he dances with the giant Rempe.

Miller's line mates will have heard a lot in the room, just an added incentive to support the guy that has pulled them back into the playoff picture.

Hey JT, how you liking New York buddy? That's OK, you always have golf to fall back on.

Would absolutely love a statement game from Petey here.

Must-win. Every game from here on out is a must-win, and we need to start that, here. There should be no shortage of motivation for this group, and you know Miller will be itching to stick it to his former team.

EDIT: In 11 career games vs. NYR, Petey has 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points.

This is a game the Canucks should win... and those have been the games we seem to have lost the most. This should be a telling game for how it is going to go down the stretch.

Wanted to add we also always seem to be bad at these early games. Ugh... don't like this already.

Mancini has sat a couple now and it's vs his former team so I imagine he and Junior switch again.

Hope they play Lekk even if it's on the 4th line just to have him out on the PP.

Call Raty up to play 4C or move DOC or Joshua there. Having Lekk in the lineup is more important than having Aman play 4C.
