There are so many tickets still avaliable along with a crazy amount of resales. Prices need to be adjusted or they may fail to hit 15K soon.

People are broke.
Plus their past 3 seasons haven't done much to boost confidence in the organization.

That's the big thing. Win the majority of games against non-playoff teams, split with the other playoff teams, and win a few against the elite. Doesn't really matter how well against the other two you do if you can't also get the "easy" points".

Yup. Go back to last year and in the first 6 games they lost to Philly, Washington, Columbus, and Buffalo. 0-4 against non-playoff teams, season screwed right out of the gate.

Really struggling to move tickets for this home stand.. coming off a huge home opener and a 3-2 road trip.

I had tickets through student rush available monday for $39. for a friday night game so early. little bit surprising.

Me neither, both teams are in a transition phase....Canucks have to consistently beat these mid level Central Division teams.
They are not Chicago, Anaheim, SJ, AZ level so everyone else is in the mix IMO.
That's 12 teams. Not concerned with Col, Dal, who will claim 2 of the top 3 spots in the Central. Don't know where any of Min, Win, Nas, Stl will land. LV will take the Pacific. Edm, figure McDrai will get them there in the end. LA, will their goaltending hold up? Dependent on their team defence. Then it's SEA, Cal, Van.

I redeemed some Save On More points to take my son to his first ever game this month (vs Vegas). Otherwise, there's no way I can justify paying those prices for tickets these days. At least with the points I can sort of convince myself that I actually didn't pay anything.

I wonder if St Louis rebuilds or does more of a retool. There forwards aren't bad. They have a couple prime aged guys in Kyrou and Thomas signed long-term. Neither are guys to build a team around though. They will have to make a decision with Buchnevich as well as he has 2 years left. There best prospects are forwards too, with Dvorsky, Snuggerud, and Stenberg. The state of there blueline though is bad. Really, really bad. Three OEL-like contract to guys in their thirties. Not alot in the pipeline either.

They are cap committed since those Dmen have some form of NTC. So limited market.

Reality of the NHL with the max term deals that run 7/8 years.

What's the usual markdown for walkup tickets on game day? I'm still recovering from an illness that sick-days couldn't cover but I'd like to catch a game if tickets are decently priced at the gate.

I don't think they'll accept a rebuild until completely forced into it. I think they try to be as competitive as they can for the next 4 years and only pivot if the situation turns completely hopeless.
