Post-Game Talk: GM 65 | Canucks def. Flames | 4-3 (SO) (Suter, DeBrusk, EP40 - Garland SO winner) | Don’t Touch Our Captain!

  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
The commentators have to lie and say this game’s been like playoff intensity.

What an odd game but hey, we have a chance to win.

Canucks have looked completely gassed after the B2B. Ironically Hughes is their freshest player

What's even sadder is that Calgary is being outplayed this period

They need to lift the puck over stumpy. He covers the ice really well, yet they're not going high.

Smart posters, is Wolf's weakness higher?

And then in 3-4 years we either have a player then, or nothing.

Teams with Quinn Hughes shouldn't be rebuilding.

If you want to rebuild, you begin it by trading Quinn Hughes this offseason.

Who here wants to trade Quinn Hughes? Show of hands.
Right, ideally you use the assets to compete now with Hughes still in the fold. My point is that even if there's no time to flip it before the deadline, it's still better to take the pick than not do the trade and lose Boeser anyway. It's not like what ended up transpiring (keeping a player that has completely quit) is doing anything towards winning anyway. What's that proving to Hughes lol?
