I don't buy it. If Miller was a one man team-wrecker then we'd see the impact of dealing him pretty quick. The only positive impact we've seen since the Miller trade is a big improvement on defense, both in terms of the roster and performance. Pettersson seems like a worse teammate given his past tendencies to disappear and not prepare for a seaosn.

And then in 3-4 years we either have a player then, or nothing.

Teams with Quinn Hughes shouldn't be rebuilding.

If you want to rebuild, you begin it by trading Quinn Hughes this offseason.

Who here wants to trade Quinn Hughes? Show of hands.

Zadorov brought the team into the fight. Fault them all you want but guys like Miller and Myers always care.

Millers issue is in emotional regulation.

Miller leaving impacted the whole team. He was the motor on the team.

Allvin & R have done zero to protect players like Hughes. Did nothing to protect players in Abbotsford and have nothing on the ice to stand up for Hughes and others now. Myers was only one that might have stepped in.

Seem to have adversion to anything involving rough play or fighting. Let the smaller and younger players fend for themselves. If either team gets a decent lead expect the game to end with brawling.

Tocchet naturally overplaying an injured Hughes.
 
Unfortunately the third period is tough for any team on a back-to-back, and this Canuck team is worse that just about any team in the league.

Canucks are basically 0-19 when trailing after two periods. That's a worse record than even the likes of Chicago and San Jose. I really doesn't speak volumes about the 'character' on this team.
