Much better engagement tonight than vs the Blues, I dunno wtf was going on in that game, but this is a much better effort from both the team, and the fans lol
I think that fatigue from the road trip and the quick return to action on getting home could have been underestimated.

The difference is the pace. One's finally getting close to being an average-ish skater, while the other is a genuinely good one.
Honestly, I'm very happy with Raty's stint up here, I thought it was 50/50 that he would just not be able to skate at this level considering what he looked like when we first got him. But yes, he and Bains are at best average skaters, so if they're off and/or tired it can look very bad.

I still wonder if he's one of those guys who comes up and looks great for like 20 games and then fades because he has to go 110% to be effective at this level, but even if that happens he looks like a player that would find his way back.

He may end up having a pretty short career but any career is better than what the other three signed at that time are tracking to have.

Canucks looked great, but Florida looked really lackadaisical as well. Best period of the season for the fourth line - direct result of the bottom 6 getting easier shifts with Miller back.

Hoglander still annoying - his neutral zone play is just a huge ??? Dudes stick is always in the air and never in passing lanes, so it’s just free rein for the other team to transition the puck up the ice.
