Wasn't even Pettersson's guy, it was Juulsen's in front but the weird bounce got him turned around.

I'm getting used to the idea that the team is going to take the whole season to figure things out, given the injuries and figuring out which players can be coached into being better vs those that can't find the groove.

With the possibility of a defender from the farm or College Willy making the team on the bottom pairing, and an addition or two from trades, it will be interesting if the team has something this year. Next year seems like the better option, but there's something cooking with this team that's hard to nail down at the moment. With that defense, they shouldn't be as successful as they are. Pettersson hunting for his game is another wild card.

Maybe this comes together in some fantastic melding of a cup winning team, or perhaps it blows up on the launch pad. Either way, there's something going on.
