Important standings note: Pitt has won three straight, putting them comfortably outside both playoff contention and lottery position.
They’re only three points out of the wild card right now, and none of the teams in front of them — Rangers, Flyers, Bruins, and Sabres — inspire confidence. You figure the Rangers will figure it out and lock down one spot but that second spot is far from decided. Not hard to see Pittsburgh make noise if Jarry catches fire again.

Like Lindgren as a good locker room guy, but his starts need to be more designated towards weaker teams and let LT handle the better/top teams.

Yeah, but Pens have played more games than the other teams you have mentioned.

As shitty as the team construction was last year, I'll give GMBM credit for his moves in the off season, he very quickly built a very balanced and skilled team from what was available.
I don’t think that’s fair. Caps were handcuffed by the big contracts of Backstrom, Oshie and Kuznetsov.

I’m glad they didn’t do anything stupid for an attempt at a quick turnaround.

They’ve also played the most games.

Next 4 are tough games for them and will show us the truth.

Caps did their homework. We had an assistant coach that PLD played with CBJ's and he's bean teammates with Milano(is there anyone else?). For all things, Carbs is a players coach so he knows how to tap into PLD, plus PLD was a center we needed. One other thing, this team has a history of taking on players that didn't fair well with their previous team.

PLD was also teammates with Roy last year in LA!

More Carbs locker room eloquence. Good vibes abound. Doobie gets the gold chain.

Love these, that's a happy locker room

Played golf today, so just finished the game ... very entertaining

That play by Dubie stood out like dogs balls ... liked Miro's game today, maybe his best so far? was surprised when i looked at the stats that he had less than 10 mins

surely we must have some easier opponents in our future, feels like we have been playing quality for weeks ... happy to see the back of the Devs, but they are a very likely opponent post-season

Well done lads, LGC

Love the videos from the locker room.
What a game once again. It's nice to be a Caps fan.

Fortunately for Strome he has already a wife.
Teeth now the chin. If he continue like this he can get an ugly face until the end of the season.

Ive been noticing how much Carbery lets our D pinch. You see them around the goal line all the time and its paying off.
