GM Salaries?

I am aware of how much everyone makes in the business besides the general managers themselves. Could any1 enlighten me?

Pat Quinn earned $1.5M to do both roles in Toronto. And I notice top notch coaches at the time earned $1,000,000. So I would assume that General Managers and coaches earn similar incomes in the $500k-$1.5M range.

That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. Usually when a coach becomes a general manager it is viewed as a promotion.

No, it would mean that someone who fills in at both positions takes a cut. It would appear that General Managers and coaches earn a fairly even salary, maybe an extra $100K for the GM.

Glen Sather makes about $5 mill.

Garth Snow makes $750k

Lou Lamerillo owns about 5% of the devils on top of his 7 figure salary.

I have no doubt Sather earns that. But he's GM and President. And I believe he has a stake in the team, much like Lou in Jersey.
