Clearly it's not all Tocchet, but you can see dump and chase hockey doesn't work with this team and yet that's all they play.

You dont want players who are grinders to stickhandle through the blue lines and it's not like he's screaming dump it in. Players are getting pinched and have to make a play. If your not a player that's gonna get some leeway why would you make an egregious turnover trying to go through good defenders
Even the top guys are smarter than that.

That may have been the case this season, but he delivered prior to that. Miller is the type of player that can change the tone of a game, we’re sorely lacking that.

You can't play teams like LA on the boards, so they have to be able to pass to move forward. There's none of that yet I think this teams has enough skill to connect passes.
