Not exactly a game I’d say we “deserved” to win. Solid first two periods, but once again going into a full turtle for the final period is a recipe for disaster.

But I’ll take the win. Hope Myers is okay. Lankinen was huge. Garland with a big game, and Chytil was excellent. Hughes of course managing to look great despite playing hurt.

Every time he has a game that's "a step in the right direction" he's terrible for three games. Rinse and repeat.

At this point couple multi point games in a row would be a step in the right direction, not just making a couple plays in a game.

Two elite defensive teams that should be able to handle playoff hockey. Both teams could use a top six forward I'd say.

protecting the lead heading into the third and sitting back is such a bad plan from the getgo. this team has been burned too many times. seattle game for one. 4-1 lead and they lost 5-4 in ot... starting chytil/doc/hughes is good. speed demons puck possession guys. then 2nd unit should be hronek/garland/sherwood/debrusk. no petey/.
