News/Notes from Jon Rosen:
  • Trevor Lewis, who weathered a pair of hard hits from Jared Boll and one from Kevin Bieksa in Saturday’s loss, did not practice due to what was described as a maintenance day. Asked whether he’s expected to be available for Monday’s matinee against San Jose, John Stevens said, “we hope so, yeah.”
  • Jonny Brodzinski, who was assigned to Ontario at the outset of the bye week, has been recalled. He has six goals and 14 points in 11 games with the Reign, which included two goals and five points in three games over the past week.
  • Jake Muzzin (IR/upper-body) is very close, but it’s not yet clear whether he’ll play Monday afternoon
  • Andrew Cogliano’s first period interference minor on Adrian Kempe has resulted in a two-game suspension. It ends his iron man streak at 830 games, the fourth longest consecutive games played streak in NHL history.
  • Paul Martin was waived this morning by the San Jose Sharks. He has not played a game for the Sharks since Decemeber 7th.
  • Martin Jones started Saturday against the Coyotes, but was pulled early on in the 1st period. Aaron Dell came in relief and got the win. Jones may start tonight, but I would not be surprised if Dell starts instead.
  • I don't expect these to be the final lines by puck drop. I suspect Lewis will play.

Can we please win a ****ing home game against a divisional opponent for once?

any news on Lewis? i don't feel too hot seeing Andreoff & Brodzinski (and Shore) on the 3rd pairing :(

in actuality, this has to be the worse 3rd line in the league

Andreoff - Shore - Brodzinski... wow

I think Lewis will go. He didn't practice yesterday, but Stevens indicated it was just maintenance. We probably won't know until the start of the game though.

Time to win. Spank the fish please (no sol, not the monkey) If anyone fancies pulling some fluff off of thorntons face, fill your boots.

love how every cycle like that with repeated scoring opps turns into an odd man rush the other way

I don't know what Stevens is thinking. We were winning games when plugs like Andreoff and Clifford were injured.

We had an offensive bottom 6 with Jokinen and Brodzinski. I don't understand why we gave up talent and scoring touch for dumb plugs who have zero use.

On top of that Blake needs to get a top 4 D man.

Put on on a record already we get it you hate clifford and andreoff move on to a new topic please

The plug 4th line had the best shift so far today.

It's not the hate at this point. They aren't working clearly, why do you break up a great bottom 6 with Jokinen and Brodzinski who would chip in and create. Keeping pressure.

AA and Clifford honestly don't do that. I don't get the logic.
