NHL.com reports that Mike Smith gets the start in goal tonight for the Flames.

He sucks, which should surprise no one, with a 3.29 gaa and .823 sv%.

Coach Willie decided to let the team sleep in so we won’t know lines until warmups. Common sense says Peterson should start, but who knows what will happen with this leadership group.

My dream is that Fantenberg is in for one of Forbort or Phaneuf, but I’m sure LaDue will be scratched instead.

Just the same speculative BS from our beloved HF forum... no real info but he’s the only one that makes sense for TB given the Dman they’re losing and the going rate for Dman if Amart’s caliber.. Muzzin and Toffoli would be too expensive unless it’s some Blockbuster we just can’t imagine... I mean why else scout the farm???

Think Bernstein was posting about Amart to TBL in a package for possibly JT Miller. He's actually decent and
