The LA Kings will have three players making their NHL Debut tonight Alex Iafallo (#19), Kurtis MacDermid (#56), and Oscar Fantenberg(#7)
Flyers Defeated the San Jose Sharks in San Jose last night 5-3. Former King Wayne Simmonds with his second career Hat Trick. Another former King Jordan Weal scored as well.
This will be the first official game for new Head Coach, John Stevens, after the LA Kings fired Darryl Sutter this past offseason. John Stevens served as the Philadelphia Flyers Head Coach from 2006-2009
The 2nd overall pick of the 2017 NHL Entry, Nolan Patrick, made his NHL debut last night against the Sharks. Recorded 13:30 TOI, with 3 shots on goal and tallied a block shot.
In non-hockey related new, the LA Kings will be honoring Christiana Duarte and all the other victims of the Las Vegas shooting this past weekend. Christiana was a native of Redondo Beach and just graduated from the University of Arizona this past May. She began working for the LA Kings as a Fan Service Associate this summer.
