This defense needs to be torn down and rebuilt this offseason. Giordano was always going to be a stop gap and he was awesome for most of his time here; unselfish to boot too unlike our core.

He makes 800K and is barely an impact player, we legitimately might be better off without him in the playoffs. Great guy, but he's too old for this league.

No, you can’t risk these things. He still has a life ahead of him. He shouldn’t play until he is 100%. Nothing is more important than his long term health. I hope he realizes that.

Get well soon. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and be available as injury fill in for the playoffs. We’ll need 8-9 NHL level D for a long run in the post season apparently. ( it’s been a while so I can’t remember, and that was probably pre-cap era)
