Playing for Lokomotiv now.

Anyway, if everyone turns up, Belarus as always can have a really good roster. Seeing that it will be home tournament, maybe even Kostitsyn brothers will get their act together for this one.

Are you sure about Linglet. Did he spend two calendar years in Belarus?

As morally questionable as it might be, naturalizing a number of foreigners has increased the quality of the Belarusian and Kazakhstani national teams. At least on paper.

The Belarusian team looks surprisingly decent, especially if all of their best players will make it this time (I haven't checked, if their NHLers/AHLers will make the play-offs this year).

By the way, Group B looks really even. Switzerland, Germany, Latvia, Belarus, Kazakhstan can all beat each other, while the US can realistically end up being relegated, if they're going to send NHL scrubs and AHL/major junior/collegiate players again. :)

He played in for Dinamo Minsk from 2011 till 2013.

Yes,but afaik player need to spend two calendar years in country (and club) he wants to represent it. I know that because one cronuck failed to fulifil two years in medvescak for just one week as he signed with another club and now he cant play for croatia (Kinasewich).

Looking forward to this year's Worlds.

Even have some thoughts about booking a flight.

Are all the games in Minsk?

Nice to see Korobov with Belarus, one more interesting player to watch

What happened to Charles Linglet? Eliteprospects lists him as Belarus citizen.

A team made of almost KHLers, good KHLers also + playing at home, I guess the matches will be full and good support? For sure this team can hurt the bigger teams.

Probably. Finnish fans told that it's cheaper to Fly in and back from belarus, stay there two weeks and watch few games, than only watch two games in Finland. I hope we (you and us) never get World Championships again unless they make agreement on ticket price cap.

ON paper this is a very solid team. If playing home, will actually help them, they can make some surprises. :)

What look like theirs practice lines? Grabo with Kostitsyn brothers or sth different?
