This is the way I see it: under JL, Fayne, JJ, & Teds seemed to be on the right path to developing into NHL players. Now? The all look like shells of their former potential selves.
If the team is going to be mediocre and possibly not be a playoff team nor develop their young players by letting them play, then what's PDB job right now? Keep in mind, before the injury bug hit the D, Larsson was being yo-yo-ed too.

Hopefully we hire Boucher and when he starts to slip up, we blame Lou for hiring him
Hey Devils Trap!
Is the "Mallet" going to be used to bash Pete over the head with it?
In my plan, he would be gone by then. I just did that cause a Canucks fan on the mainboard proposed it
I always love your Guy Boucher actkeep it up
I was around for this conversation, but what has been everyone's thoughts on Merrill?
Personally, I see the potential, but right now he's too soft and he's overthinking. He needs to learn to use his size because he loses almost every board battle, and he also needs to relax more.
I thought he was pretty good for an emergency call up. he needs the rest of the year in the AHL but he looks good. very quick breakout passes and his work behind the net was good
I thought he got outmuscled way too much for a guy his size behind the net.
On Ruutu's goal, I think it was Staal completely manhandled him. I guess something like that grows with time, but thinking that he is a pretty big kid, and is older since he went to college, I guess I was looking for a little more strength and aggressiveness.
