Just wonder if a guy like Farrell would fit better with Newhook at center. Laine has been invisible 5on5 and Farrels playmaking is lacking on that line.

It's far from bs and it obviously ends when the PO starts.
Maybe it's not Beck but the other 2 forwards on that line? Chemistry has been lacking with Newhook and Laine since day 1.
Farrel is a great AHLer but if he is the solution then this team is in bigger trouble than imagined.

Farrell JUST turned it around. Why would we promote him and likely end the prospect forever. He needs to continue to develop. It wasn't in a that long ago people were completely writing him off.

Farrell has zero NHL future, he simply doesn’t have pace to compensate for lack of size - he’s another in a long list of Corey Locke’s…
Beck will be fine, he’s slowly being broken in - if it was first half of the season he’d be getting more TOI

Well that's my opinion and nobody will convince me otherwise. He's been back for 3 weeks now.
Anyway, it better end in the playoffs. Could you imagine the game goes to 3rd overtime and the Rockets take out DR due to return to play protocol.
If you’re talking best player, Dauphin. He’d be a better option than Beck right now ( but I don’t want them to ruin a good thing in Laval)
