If there's any recognition to be gained, in the form of a photo or commemorative t-shirt, make sure the restaurant follows through on their end of the bargain.

That's why I dislike Wingporium.

Ate a pound of Black Mamba wings two years ago, and they have yet to add my photo (which they actually did take upon completion), onto their Wall of Flame.

So I'm taking my hot wing-eating prowess to other establishments.

When we were in Queenstown, NZ we did a hot sauce challenge. Had to have like a teaspoon or so of 8 different of OMG OUR HOTTEST HOT SAUCES EVER!!!!!! and the hottest one was on par with like regular Tabasco.

Yeah that's right CL, I'm calling you and your people a bunch of *******.

The sauce is between 200 000 and 350 000 on the Scoville scale.

Not even hotter than freaking scotch bonnet peppers.

Ghost peppers by themselves go up to 1 000 000 IIRC.

BWW's blazing sauce isn't even hot. the only part that is even remotely hard is trying to hold them because they come straight from the fryer.

i did the challenge in under 3 mins and it would have been a lot faster, except i got pissed at how physically (not spicy) the wings were and took my time after i knew i was gonna do it

I get 1/3rd of my wings Blazin' whenever I get wing Tuesdays. It isn't that hot, definitely not challenge worthy. You don't have to do anything special, just don't touch your eyes or your pen 15 right after otherwise they could burn.

what it has in doesn't matter in terms of final sauce hotness. Every hot sauce has capsaicin in them!

as said by the others, 300 000 (aka what I said pretty much) is not insane.

BWW Blazin' wings aren't really that hot, but they taste awful because it's pure chemicals.
