The results haven't been there and maybe he sucks as GM, but he's been on the job less than 2 years. Plus name the move he made that you don't agree with. If anything it's the coach. Brunette isn't it because that roster is so much better than the record.

Which move? How about Stamkos? He is 100% incapable of playing 5 x 5 at the NHL level anymore and anyone who had actually watched him play in 23-24 would have known that. Trotz had to have signed him based on reputation alone and clearly never watched one minute of video. The others were almost as bad and frankly were right up Lou's alley. Sign aging veterans to long term deals because they used to be great.

It's not hyperbole and Trotz is out of his depth as a GM. As for your ridiculous bet proposal, I don't know anything about the Preds farm system or what they have in the pipeline. What I do know is that the Islanders are a sinking ship so why would I make that bet?

And for the record, earlier today you agreed with my take that the bar is set too low around here and yet here you are saying you'll take anybody as GM as long as it's not Lou. Great standard. Should get us far.

The Isles are 25th in goals scored and 31st in power play. Guess we should complain about other GMs and keep signing 3rd liners to bad contracts.

And in the last year of Stamkos' deal the Isles will be paying Engvall, Duclair, and Mayfield the same amount of money.

Trotz may suck as GM, but right now Lou is worse. Don't agree then stop overracting in just text and put your money where your mouth is and bet me $100 who has the better record as long as Lou is GM of the Isles. I'll take the Preds.
