He could start with McDavid like how Kunitz was with Crosby during the Olympics. Eventually, it needs to get broken up. Stone's usage right now is horrible and he's not having a great tournament either, he should still be on the Olympic team in the bottom 6 however.

I think Slaf has a better chance at becoming a great goalscorer than an asshole player like Tkachuk. He's a nice guy.

I think "you can't teach that" gets overused in hockey, but in this case I think it applies.

True. But somehow...compared to the US...geez...yeah...when Crosby is gone....something tells me it's US era. Depth is there so much right now. We can,t produce goalies. And frankly....look at the defense?

Canada's identity has shifted towards more higher-end skill with guys like Bedard/McDavid/Mackinnon/Mckenna/Celebrini but less overall abilities compared to the Bergeron/Crosby/Getzlaf/Carter/Benn.

Defense is similar in how gifted offensively guys like Makar/Bouchard/Dobson are but the overall abilities again don't compete with prime Weber/Doughty/Pietrangelo.
