Gotta love how somehow the Leafs do nothing wrong all game. 4 penalties to 1 despite us controlling possession for a good portion of the game.
Listening to the game on TSN 1050 with the Isles firing blanks in the third was quite a pain, now officially another loss.

Hopefully 2025 gets better for the Isles, with the Leafs coming up in 2 days at Elmont.

Happy New Year Everyone

Maybe pull the goalie again. Works everytime. Roy fast becoming a very stubborn coach that does not appear to know how to get the most out of this roster. Has an idea how things should go and does it regardless of outcome.

Funny how they've scored 4 EN goals in two games they were no chance of winning. And not looked likely outside of that.

Shorthanded for 4 of the last 5 minutes of the game and we still could have tied it if Nelson buried a breakaway.
It’s pathetic. These guys have no idea how to win. Veterans too. They make the dumbest mistakes. There absolutely had to be a message sent to this roster. It is a horrible culture in the room. These guys are so comfortable. Like Adam Pelech should never see the ice again. He’s been brutal for years now. Just keeps getting pumped out there. That play he made in the 3rd and to take that penalty is inexcusable. But when you flick pucks up the middle of the ice in double OT to lose a series and there are 0 consequences what can you expect.

These guys are dumb. They do some really stupid shit quite often. They’re just not smart players.

Isles have lost 10 more games than they’ve won. They’re probably the same distance from last in the league as they are from the last wild card spot. Why would anyone not want to re-something this team, starting with relieving the GM tonight so his replacement could have a chance to make the kind of changes he wants by the TDL?

Why does anyone ask Roy about Engvall? His presence is doesn’t make a difference. The power play sucks and the d is soft

I dont think a single person would have thought we would be in 7th in the division on New Years Eve and the one team worse than us would be the Rags.

The great thing as an Isles fan is if they are down one in dying minutes you know they're cooked. But if they're up one you also know they're certain to concede. It's like the PK and PP. You expect the worst and remarkably they never disappoint.
