Mentioning the Cup because it is clear that Lou "only deals in Cups" just like a Sith "only deals in absolutes".

Actually a superb reference. Well done.

But it's even worse...Lou believes that any team he GMs will eventually turn into a Cup contender if he just resigns everyone long enough.

Engvall, MacLean, and Fasching have no business being on this team after this year imo.

I guess it'd prob be easier to list the players worth keeping because that list is shorter.

I could make an argument it would actually be worse for the long term success of this team if Nelson and Palmeiri are.

At this TDL I would move Nelson, Palmieri, and try to move Pageau but that's more difficult. Lee easier to move in summer or next season too.

Engvall buyout in the summer. Let Fasching walk. Bury MacLean in Bridgeport and be first call up. Move on from Matt Martin finally for God's sake too.

I would also try to trade one of Pelech/Pulock and see what you could get back for them.

Sign me up for all of it...Mainly because for any of it to happen would mean that Lou is not calling the shots.
