Gaudette is the only shoot first guy on the team this year that can score from far out, so who knows, maybe he's a late bloomer top 6. He's clearly a natural goal scorer by his style of play.

Cousins - Pinto - Greig

is your third? Idk about that one... yikes.

I mean, Pinto - Greig are likely fine together, but Cousins has been beyond useless... to the point of being an active hinderance to the team.

Greig isn't ready, Giroux will be gone soon (whether that be trade deadline or in a few years to retirement) and we have nobody "up next" for top 6 positions.

I don't think thin is the right way to describe it, the talent is there, we just have too many guys underperforming.

Not really understanding the logic in splitting up Stutzle and Batherson but I guess the other lines are so godawful at 5on5 you need to hope Batherson can uplift his linemates on a different line instead of playing him with Stutzle for one effective line.
