I never watched the show and might have a look just for fun, but maybe the reason for watching is exactly this, to escape from the 2019, age of social media we live in.

What did u Expect from a show about sum Wizard goin`g 2 colledge. It was alway`s goin`g 2 b Bad. Wile u Nerd`s was wastin`g you`re Live`s on a Fake show, I Was literally playin`g P`S`3 `n` becomin`g the Top Rank`d Sniper in Call of Duty.

Overall, I'm not mad about the ending itself after sleeping on it. However, I am mad about how they got to it. Obviously, if they took a couple more seasons and built it up better so it'd make more sense, that would have been great. There just wasn't enough time. Even so, I feel like they could have tweaked a couple things about this episode to make it a little more satifying.

If I did the episode over, I'd have Tyrion be killed straight away when he threw down the Hand pin. Shows that Dany wasn't screwing around and further shows the madness that she was gravitating towards. When Arya sees this, she knows that Dany needs to die. Being the assassin she is, she sneaks up into the Throne room and kills her. I felt Jon killing her was way too predictable, and that he wouldn't do something that dishonorable, even in those circumstances. Arya's good at covering her tracks, so nobody finds out it was her, all people know is they have a dead queen. In trying to figure out who should reign in her place, it is finally revealed what Jon's true identity is, and he is named king. But he doesn't want it, and steps down to go live North of the wall, where he feels free. So he gives a similar speech to Tyrion's, and Bran is named king in a similar fashion. Instead of seceding from the 7 kingdoms, Sansa is satisfied that they finally have a ruler worth staying in the realm with. It didn't make sense to me that everyone was fine with the North being independent. Everyone ends up doing basically the same thing in the end (except idk how I feel about Arya as an explorer, that seemed like a strange choice.) I felt like they did Jon dirty, and that the truth about his identity was wasted, so this I feel would have been a more satisfying ending without changing too much. But of course, I'm no writer. What do you guys think?
