It would be a travesty if some Russians would miss the final because of the fights that Americans started. Its good to hear this is not the case.

Both teams were at fault starting the rough stuff towards the end of the game. It wasn't just one team.

I doubt it will happen. Canada started fights against Finland and it was much worse, and they got no suspensions.

I think the IIHF will use this as a prescedent.

Canada had even more fights against Norway, and yeah, that wasn't followed up with any suspensions, so hopefully the same will be here, especially given that this is the finals now..

BUT, the misconduct happened within the last 5 minutes of the game. Im pretty sure in NHL rules if u get a misconduct in the last 5 minutes, u get an automatic boot for the next game too.
