Not only is this the final regular season game for both teams, it is the final regular season match for the entire league. This is the make-up game for the postponed match on April 13th because of the blizzard. While the playoffs start on Monday, neither of these two teams will be involved this year. The Jets, who are coming off of a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Friday night, are settled into the thirteenth spot in the 2022 NHL Draft (barring any miraculous lottery luck). The Seattle Kraken, who potentially could draft in third spot, might actually move down a spot with a victory against the Jets. So the match does mean something to the coffee drinkers from the left coast. Will KFC get four buckets tonight to reach fifty on the year? Will "Interim" Head Coach Dave Lowry be behind the bench for the last time for Winnipeg? Will I get my income tax in before the Monday deadline? Will Mick E. Moose ever stop banging that annoying drum? Will Dennis Beyak go out with a bang, or will it be a BANG BANG, or even a BANG BANG BANG? These questions and more may be answered soon enough...
