It’s like inception. Burner account within a burner account.
Boston is not afraid to play Toronto and neither is Tampa Tampa just destroyed Toronto eight to one the bruins would love nothing more than to play Toronto in round 1 given the recent history between the twoHave anyone think that both Bruins and TB want to avoid playing the Leafs in the first round?
Andersen is injured and even if he is 100%, he tends to choke in playoffs. Not to mention an easier path to Conf Finals.
would be interesting to see Keefe choose:
Nylander - Kerfoot - Blackwell
Mikheyev - Kampf - Engvall
Looks like he's playing. Very Odd as he should definitely get the game off.I hope Rielly sits out too on defense. Maybe even Brodie as well.
They can only rest so many players. They still need to fill out a roster and fit under the cap.Looks like he's playing. Very Odd as he should definitely get the game off.
would you tell me who decides the schedule ? I have zero knowledge about this.I have no idea why they decided to end this year's schedule on a Friday, but the loss of Saturday home games has nothing to do with Bettman. It goes back to the 90s under Cliff Fletcher when the Leafs agreed to give up some of those home games in order to avoid excessive back-to-backs. Back in the 70s and 80s, the Leafs regularly played around 20 Saturday home games. This season they played 10.
Depends if you think or fear Offense of Defense wins more championships.Have anyone think that both Bruins and TB want to avoid playing the Leafs in the first round?

I'm almost 100% certain that if you ask the players - they don't give 2 shits about who they play and just let the chips fall how they fall.Have anyone think that both Bruins and TB want to avoid playing the Leafs in the first round?

I think that if the core players that have been around for a while were asked off the record, they would prefer a shot at redemption against Boston.I'm almost 100% certain that if you ask the players - they don't give 2 shits about who they play and just let the chips fall how they fall.
As per HFboards logic, Edmonton is scared.
Then why is Boston resting everyone?Depends if you think or fear Offense of Defense wins more championships.
Boston has won 4 straight games and need to make it 5 to play the Leafs potentially, that isn't a team trying to avoid Toronto by running the table down the stretch.
The best defensive teams reside in the Metro and the best offensive ones in the Atlantic.
It was, BUT, Drai is good enough to get 5 goals in 2 games, so it there was still a slim chance.Drai sitting officially locks up the Rocket for Matthews (even though it was nearly a lock already)
They already announced the guys who would be sitting yesterday afternoon before anyone knew today had any implications for seeding.Looks like Leafs are trying to help Boston secure the extra point so we play them instead
Do you have Boston's starting line-up for tonight? Then why is Boston resting everyone?
Boston is scared of facing Toronto.Do you have Boston's starting line-up for tonight?
The NHL and the schedule makers must be ripping their hair out.
They create a schedule that pits Boston vs Toronto in game #82 in hopes its a pivotal mean everything game to decide playoff seeding and opponents that couldn't have done a better job to create suspense and intrigue.
Only to find out both teams make a mockery of it and play their AHL teams instead.
