Got a point, lol....

Seriously though, this game was a moral victory. They didn't need the shootout win. Great effort, except for in the 1st period.

Btw, Gaborik has been awesome in shootouts since coming to LA, hope he keeps that up next season. He could have won this game tonight, but oh well, it's not a huge deal since they did come back from being down 3-0 and noone got injured.

Fox summed it up well, "It's that time of year where there's a loss but you're not too upset about it!" As everyone laughing and joking in the press box.

Yeah, Gaborik's shootout shot was just unfair.

Good on the Kings to battle back in a meaningless game and take full control. You knew by the end of the game who the battle-tested team was. When the Flames had some pressure on them, they stopped doing cute behind-the-back passes and cross-crease stuff in their own zone, stopped the full-court stretch passes, stopped trying to dangle everyone. They started getting the puck the **** away from them as soon as they could.

There's some good young talent on that roster and more to come, but I just want to point out that when this team flips a switch, it's lights out.

It's only been a couple games, but right now I would be fine if Campbell stuck around and replaced Greene if he isn't re-signed. Hopefully he keeps it up, he's been solid out there. Good size, good stick, long reach. I was expecting him to be a step behind, to be honest, but that hasn't materialized.

That's what I thought too. Actually it's how the Flames played the Kings all season. Cammellari was damn near invisible after the 1st until I heard his named called in OT. We gave away 6 points to the Flames FWIW.

Did anyone notice when Williams just got the puck and had a break on the 3 on 2 and Richards shot himself out of a cannon (no pun intended lol) and ended up going offside then looked back at the ref in shock? That's probably the first time I've been actually frustrated during a game since we clinched a playoff spot

He was like a foot offside.

Per TSN:

Stoll, Anze Kopitar and Jordan King scored for Los Angeles (45-28-7). The playoff-bound Kings, locked into third spot in the Pacific Division, are winless in four of their last five.

No respect. ;)
