Looks like Sam did the Rangers pre-game thread. Connauton on the 3rd pair.

Rangers need a win to clinch a playoff spot. Rangers struggling. Jackets have won one in a row. Were the 5 goals portending another scoring drought? Lundqvist gave up 3 on 5 shots last game. Vows to improve.
Is the tank in danger? Both Ranger and Jackets fans concerned.

A match up for the ages.

I hope the young kids represent like the last game. Korpi = bad for the tank. Bob better bring his big boy pants to camp next fall, sure looks like he will be fighting for his job. Same for other veterans, Torts wants to reshape this team, and he wants guys that will go all out. Going to be an interesting offseason.

$25M of salary either injured, scratched or on the bench. That's 1/3 of your total salary. Doesn't look good for the front office.

To be fair...a lot of those are injuries. And Bourque was just a one-year salary retention in the Wiz deal. He's gone in a week.
