Is that the play when he chased down a loose puck behind the opponent’s goal, and he braced for the hit by leaning back, and then he got propelled into the boards? If so, it didn’t look like his head got hit. Maybe a shoulder or his wrist again. I think he played after that hit, too

Was it announced as an injury or a rest/therapy day?
Yes that was the play I was thinking about.

When it happened I was immediately worried he got a concussion. I was glad to see he finished the shift and the game. But as we know hockey players will try to play through it, so the fact that he kept playing doesn't mean he didn't get a concussion.

And I don't recall exactly, whether I was worried that his head hit the boards or more the way the hit caught him by surprise. One can get a concussion just from the momentum of the impact making the brain move inside the skull, and hitting the skull from the sudden movement.

Fixing my sleep schedule so I'm probably gonna crash before this game even starts. But if I don't I will grace you all with some awake-for-30 hours shitposting slightly akin to being drunk. Maybe I'll even crack open the 60% alcohol baijiu (Chinese white wine) if the Habs actually play a good first period. Got a fat ribeye (actually a rib roast but it's not my fault they cut steaks too thin in Ontario) getting up to room temp now and dry brining.

Tonight we celebrate playoffs. I just assume we're gonna win and Detroit/Rangers have zero chance of going undefeated the rest of the way. Cause I don't believe in superstition. I believe in the heart of the cards. And our card says playoffs. It's already over. Exodia, obliterate (Detroit's chances).

This is as close to a playoff game as it gets in the regular season. Wings will come flying, it's basically an elimination game for them.
Yes, we can lose tonight and still make the playoffs. Bit if they lose it becomes very difficult for them to make it and their fate is out of their hands even if they do well in their remaining games.

I bought some sirloin steaks in my online grocery order this week and when I got them they were thin as minute steaks :(
ah man, meat is one of the few things you really need a close eye on to choose, I guess they can put just about any picture, im really picky about the meat I buy, almost always grab it at metro, even better for you if you go to a private butcher but thats too expensive for me

So this sounds like BS, right?

MSN - says expects Demidov with Habs this season.
I heard the same thing today, but i doubt the source was MSN.
Then again, I heard last year Demidov was going to go play in the VHL for the rest of the farm teams' season, so who knows.

Tonight could be epic for this team! Fans want to experience it! Make it happen boys!
I really really hope so, but also don't really have a good feeling about it.

But... a big but... if Habs were to win, can you image the bell center crowd?

I got into steaks as one of my seventy covid hobbies. I have to touch, feel, and look at any beef I eat now before I buy it. I can eat any kind of chicken but I've got standards for beef. It sucks especially because I can't afford good beef.

How are we supposed to tell the difference with your other posts? ;)

Just kidding. Busting each other's chops is as much a hockey tradition as food and booze.
How dare you. I am a very respected poster; just look at how many likes I have.
