Yes that was the play I was thinking about.Is that the play when he chased down a loose puck behind the opponent’s goal, and he braced for the hit by leaning back, and then he got propelled into the boards? If so, it didn’t look like his head got hit. Maybe a shoulder or his wrist again. I think he played after that hit, too
Was it announced as an injury or a rest/therapy day?
When it happened I was immediately worried he got a concussion. I was glad to see he finished the shift and the game. But as we know hockey players will try to play through it, so the fact that he kept playing doesn't mean he didn't get a concussion.
And I don't recall exactly, whether I was worried that his head hit the boards or more the way the hit caught him by surprise. One can get a concussion just from the momentum of the impact making the brain move inside the skull, and hitting the skull from the sudden movement.
