3-1 TB after 2. Rags have been pressing pretty hard in the second. Hope TB doesn't choke. At least not tonight. They can choke in the playoffs. I will support that. Rempe can layout Koucherov too... i'll be ok with that.

On the positive note, and because unlike @Runner77, I don't live in tropical paradise, own a yacht with an army of babes and get to do what I want... I finally get to play golf on Friday. Golf mid April - f*** yeah!!! Didn't think I had enough heart to watch Habs and Sens... it can handle only so much high blood pressure.

A win for Detroit means they will be the only somewhat serious threat to challenge for wc2

A habs win virtually buries everyone below them.

The last time these two teams met, the wings were in danger of moving 7 points back of the Habs, but they won that game and went on a big run afterwards. Hopefully history does not repeat itself.

Detroit have been able to have their way with us at times recently for whatever reason, even in their ultimate tank job season. Lucas Raymond especially always seems to find a way to mug us off, and Seider is a pretty fiesty customer on the back end.

I'd have both of them on the Habs in a heartbeat, to be fair.
We’re 2-1 against them this season, having lost the last game in Detroit. We killed them here in December, but it wasn’t Talbot in nets.

I wouldn't classify tonight as a must win, but it's definitely a really nice to have.

It would take a lot of pressure off in the final week.

Thankfully they've had this 5 game winning streak to allow for some breathing room. They aren't going to win every game, so it's nice to have some margin for error.

I for sure go back to Montembault tonight. Figure out the weekend when they get there. See what the playoff landscape is.

Hutson’s fairy tale point watch, aka The 80s called, continues:

That's absolutely bonkers. Aren't all of these players hall of famers? Not sure about Gary Suter, but the rest.... What a list to be a part of.
Martin Leclerc was arguing yesterday on 91.9 BPM Sports radio Hutson's potential attainment of Larry Murphy's rookie assist record shouldn't be diminished after Ovy's goal-scoring record. He noted there were 1079 rookie defensemen who could've achieved the feat prior to Hutson. Pretty nuts.

I feel Hutson will reach 60 assists on the season today against the Red Wings. Habs will come out victorious in a 4-3 OT Win.

Actually, if you count his first two games played in the NHL, he'd be tied with Murphy with 3 games left.
One final small fact: In his 5 games played vs. the Red Wings, Hutson averages an assist/game. In his last game played vs. Detroit, he ended the game with no points and a -2.
