Seriously we need to lose this in a well played game. Win and Colorado and Dallas are only 2 pts ahead. :help:

I'll be honest, I'd rather potentially help Pittsburgh miss the playoffs. Ottawa has 5 points to make up but they've been hot so it's possible with each having 5 games to play.

I'll be there - let's go for 9.

Yes, I'll be cheering for the Stars, Avalanche, Sharks and Flyers to win this week, but I don't mind the Jackets finishing strong.

It's not about building momentum for next year - we know that doesn't happen. But, it does matter in terms of keeping this team together. If this team was still losing right now, management would know that major changes are needed. But, showing that they can win when healthy, I'm on the side that minor tweaks are fine.

Maybe we need some help on D, but I don't see a top pairing guy coming in. What we really need is Murray to have surgery this summer where bubble wrap is implanted in both his legs. Add a healthy Murray to this lineup and I think we are in good shape as the young guys continue to develop.

Dano a healthy scratch again? I had no issues with giving him one game...but two? If he's really healthy I don't like it.

Let's get a franchise record win streak.

And Richards is clearly in the tank crowd if he's keeping Dano out again. That kid is one of our best players.

I wouldn't care if winning this game meant we didn't even get a draft pick, I want to WIN and send the grove city pens fans home angry! Plus hurt the pens in the standings

I despise the notion of tanking and am saddened by the thought that some Jackets fans actually prefer they lose games in order to better their draft choice; but your position, Nana, is one I can embrace - CBJ to win out, but no further drop in draft position (except regarding the Flyers, of course - they should rot, never win another game, and fall through a hole in the ice).

Yes that would be the optimal. But if we win out the pick goes down as I don't see the other teams ahead of us doing the same. Frankly I couldn't care less if we lose the last 5. It doesn't mean a thing. Just like winning the next 5 doesn't mean a thing. Getting a better chance at the lottery could mean a thing. As could a higher draft choice. May not mean anything but I prefer the odds to be in my favor. Come October I hope we go 82-0. Now 0-5 would be great.

I'd love for us to win today and for the Pens to lose tomorrow against Philly. If they drop both games, they are in BIG danger of falling out of a playoff spot.

I'd for sure trade the difference between picking 8 and picking 10 just to see Pittsburgh miss out on the playoffs!

Dano is in, Boll is out per Portzline

Pretty solid line-up today. I'm expecting good things.

Praise the Lord but we will have no ammunition to pass.

How can he scratch Boll? Who will inspire the team? What if Pittsburgh's goon runs roughshod over defenseless Jackets like Prout, Foligno & Dubinsky?
