I am torn at this point

I believe the Bruins want this player, and they might pick him even if they won the lottery

One win isn’t going to hurt ffs. At this point I hope they go on a win streak just to f*** with the people who want them to lose the rest of the season.

A win is useless at this point, the losing streak will be long gone and forgotten next season. Need the best pick position possible.
It pains me to write this but have to agree

This season is a total write-off ...winning a meaningless game versus positioning for the future with the highest draft choice possible is -sadly-a simple equation

The worst part of these games is there is absolutely nothing to be excited about. There is no real prospect to watch and see develop. Just a bunch of JAGs that are what they are and what we have seen is they aren't good. They are barely adjusting the roster and/or trying new things. It’s straight don’t care from GM to the coach and finally starting to seep into the players. They have been abandoned and I can’t see the players all that excited for the future when it seems like the GM has gone on vacation.

I know the goal right now is best draft position but that’s not what the GM, coach and players should be doing. They should be doing everything to try to win, which means frequent up and down of players and roster constantly in flux. It’s not and it’s just a real piss poor showing to the fans.

Not even close but I'll give you a c- for the lame attempt at a response.
You can do whatever you want but insulting all the fans who are doing exactly what they should be doing for the long term health of the franchise is on you. You can root for a couple of meaningless wins that will drop the team four spots down the draft order in a year where there are significant lines in terms of prospects because that makes you feel like a better fan. But acting like the 98% of the fan base who is grounded enough to root for them to lose for a couple weeks are bad fans or embarrassing or whatever is getting tiresome.

Similar to some Patriots fans who were ecstatic that they beat the Buffalo Bills 3rd stringers in game 17 with Joe Milton. Where did that meaningless win get the team, did it build a culture? No. It dropped them from 1st overall pick to 4th overall
