Disclaimer: “GDT may not be 100% accurate. I got the line combos from your mom. I used to have Center Ice, Gamecenter Live, and an undercover concession worker in each arena, but this **** costs money. I will admit that my pet otter is using all up that money on his worsening opium problem. I try to not be an enabler, but I haven't had a sea urchin problem in months. Then I thought, why should I pay all this money and have a sea urchin problem to appease fans of random teams that I don't even care about anyway? Unless you are willing to take a bunch of sea urchins off of my hands, don't ***** if I get the lines wrong.” - BF

Oilers pretty much in last place and don't have anything to play for. (Coulture.. "cough")

How could this go wrong?

This is quite the important game after 3 very soft outings against "supposedly weaker" teams.

yeah, getting in the playoffs is cool, but you still gotta beat lesser teams.

Kings 4-1 GKG!!

i guess the players don't care about the result anymore. but still, if they've decided to give themselves a bit of rest before the playoffs, it's still annoying to lose such games, or so many in a row. i suspect it will be one of those, "20 minutes oughta be enough" approach. my prediction: lak will lead 2-0, those oilers will come back, and with a late, probably even lucky goal lak will triumph, victorious, in all the glory. final 3-2 lak. but i'll have my vomiting bucket ready, just in case.

I love Sutter:

On whether Brayden McNabb is more effective and noticeable:
You notice him because he played with Drew. [Reporter: A little bit more like standing up, and even like the last game at the red line-] He should knock guys on their ass once in the game. He shouldn’t take penalties that they score on, he shouldn’t turn pucks over below the goal line. I noticed all those things. Again, he wasn’t a playoff player last year, so can he be an important player this year? It’s kind of what these 10 games are for. (from LAKingsInsider)

Kings should win
I have no vdollars so I can't jinx them

Edit wait I have 50 vcash. Must resist the urge.

Sorry guys, nothing good can come of this:

Predict, as someone else said, a bad first 5 minutes, a good next 15 minutes, followed by a collapse that finds the Oilers with a 3-2 comeback win and McDavid spinning across center ice.

This will be the first game I miss in full since the beginning of the year though, so there's that!

It's always fun to read both GDTs and both fan bases saying guaranteed loss. At least someone from their board hasn't posted here assuring us of a win.

@helenenothelen
Darryl Sutter said earlier Vinny Lecavalier will be a game-time decision tonight. Doesn't want to risk recurrence of injury, long time out.

Whattt

god damnit.

Get healthy Vinny and Kris.

Guess clinching early is good but with people rested or out we're gonna see some uuuugly hockey down the stretch

Go go power dowd

Sounds like a strained muscle... that starts to feel better... then you're set back another couple of weeks because you rushed it a day or 2 early.
