Johansen with the hat trick, but tr000 fan favorite Nick Foligno scores 4 goals, honors the captaincy, restores the pride to the R-Bar, and gets Light the Lamp to start blogging again.

How has Jones looked for you all? I don't see much except highlights from time to time on tv, which show him good and bad. He will get a warm reception tonight I'm positive.

Great. Some lapses of course, but he has a had a very positive impact on our team.

Hoping for a regulation loss. And I also hope Johansen lights it up tonight.

Interested in how our team treats him on the ice.

You're killing me.

I was going to say Joey with the game winner with 7.6 seconds left sending Vogeezy, CR and other Joey-philes into ecstasy while also delighting well played loss aficionados. Looks like you are on both sides of that.

Glad to see Jones is playing well for you guys. Was my favorite player here but the trade had to happen for both parties. I kinda miss when we played each other all the time in the Central. Hopefully the fact that this is a Saturday and the only trip CBJ makes to Nashville this season means a decent amount of Jackets fans will be in town tonight. Always liked having your fans in town in the past. Good luck to Seth and the rest of you guys.

That's not what I meant haha. I just meant your fan infiltration into Nashville was much easier to handle than other division fan bases such as Chicago, St Louis and Detroit. (Sorry that you still have to deal with the latter more often. ) Basically you were the only Central fans who weren't ***holes.

Carolina fans said the same thing about us CBJ fans when I went down there for a game. We are respectful, and actually fun to have around.

We are all too familiar with the antics of Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh fans.

The time I went to Nashville the Preds fans in the section we were in were a bit rude, but from what I was told later that was the exception, rather then the rule.

However, when we went bar hopping after the game, we had a great time with all the Preds fans, and bar employees. They were a lot of fun, and really made us feel welcome.

Joey "accidently" tips in the game winner for Columbus on a shot by Jones late in the 3rd. It finally proves that Joey never wanted to leave Columbus. :naughty: The Joey-philes go crazy.

Joey's Nashville stats on offense are almost identical to when he was in Columbus earlier this season. I hope this is just a bad season and not going to be his typical output.

These two franchises which came in two years apart are really quite remarkable in extremely different ways. The Preds routinely are in the playoffs with a payroll that is around $9M below cap while the Jackets...well the Jackets

For some reason, these made me really, really sad.

“I’ll say this: I wish I was still a Blue Jacket,†Johansen said, then pausing for moment. “Let me make sure I’m wording this the right way.â€

He continued.

“I wish we didn’t start the season 0-8. I wish we were in the playoffs. I wish we had a great year. I wish we were still together. But that’s professional sports.

“I loved more than anything else in the world being a Blue Jacket. But now I’m here. And since they didn’t believe that I could be a big piece of the franchise in Columbus anymore, I love being a Nashville Predator. I’m a Predator now, and that’s all that matters.â€

AP: Biggest regret in Columbus?

RJ: Not winning. Not being able to win there. That’s a big-time sports town. It would have been unbelievable.

Those are mature quotes. The kind of words you'd expect in a prepared statement. Maybe some of the thoughts were prepared. Still, that's well said.

And he's right. I don't know how much personal/professional responsibility he feels for the losing, and I don't care to hear anymore how much people here hold him responsible - not because I don't care about opinions but I don't thin there's anything new to be said on the subject. The point is he's damn right.

I don't think most people care about him or how the season started outside of the people who are oh so eager for him to have a 6 point night against us so they can say 'told ya so' and call the franchise and its fans morons, again, on the NSH board.

Good riddance and good luck to him.

This. Wish some of these posters would just become Nashville fans once and for all and get the **** off our board.
