Hello and welcome to Montreal where the Canadiens play against our Winnipeg Jets.

The Jets are coming off of a 4-3 victory against the Ottawa Senators, while the Habs are still stinging from a 3-2 loss against the Maple Laffs on Saturday. Winnipeg is now 34-28-11 and are still seven points out of the final Wild Card spot held by the Dallas Stars. The playoffs are a distant memory for Montreal, as they are 20-41-11 and sit just two points out of last place in the entire league, ahead of the lowly Arizona Coyotes. For the Jets, if we do the math...

...we are still mathematically in the playoff race, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that we are done like dinner...

All that's left for us is to either play with pride...

or go full on tank for a better draft position...

Either way, let's hope to see an entertaining game tonight...

I liked the dog-themed GDT. We're having to take one of our dogs into the vet at 6pm for her final appointment, so seeing a dog-filled GDT seems appropriate. We had three dogs to start the year and we'll be down to 1 in a few hours. Both of old age and they both had good long lives. Hopefully the game will be a good one to send her off!

I might watch this game tonight. Battle of two teams out of the playoffs so not that much to look forward to but its hockey and we are heading back into winter so why not.
