Oh and on top of the Florida taem we played, you might have add Matt Tkachuk to the list..lol. Yeah, let's go Pezzetta....be a good sport here and use his 5 minutes well.....

Why is Roy with the Habs to sit out? Why not send him back because he isn't ready.

I haven't commented much about coaching, but I don't like this decision. The Panthers will come out physically and dirty tonight, and no sheriff means that Bennett, Marchand, and company will grow taller and bolder. This might not end well tonight, and it's all on MSL.

Go 2/3 on the PP again and they'll cool their jets real quick.
One of our greatest failings in the past was not having the ability to punish teams where it hurts most.
Special Teams are extremely important on both sides of that coin.

Pezz is definitely useless in the grand scheme, but X has been the cause of a few mistakes and no playing well either lately. I am sure they also don't want a retaliation to be the focus of a game they need to win. Refs would be watching him like a hawk. If this was mid season I'd say have at it.

To be fair everyone has been making mistakes and not playing well. Jacky is the only one who is ever held accountable by a clearly biased coach.

It's not the X situation that's stupid, it's the not replacing Pezz or Roy with someone that can actually be useful. Not sure of he's hurt or not, but ABB didn't get much of a chance this year and I didn't find him that bad when he did. Could have been a stopgap. Hopefully Kapanen comes over to replace those two.

Pretty crazy how one mistake by Roy makes him a healthy scratch when defensive specialist Jake Evans made the exact same mistake (arguably worse) on the next Canes goal and only Roy is held accountable despite playing good hockey before that game.

Guhle literally skated out of the way to give the Panthers a breakaway last game, the veteran Carrier coughs up the puck right up the middle last game, Matheson makes the same costly turnovers every game, and Savard literally cannot skate and just lays on the ice during the PK.

I understand (but don’t really agree) MSL excusing the mistakes from the established guys who play a key role for us, but scratching guys like Roy who was playing good hockey before his mistake and Xhekaj who was good for most of the season when his vets make the same mistake is baffling. Not like we’re loaded either to afford sitting guys like this.

MSL is hard on young guys
yet matcheson can give the puck away lots and zip
If you were a rookie how do you view that?? double standard
