As I awake from my slumber and look out at the vast amounts of snow that are quickly melting, I am reminded that things can change in a heartbeat. Take for instance the fact that by the end of the week, winter will return with a vengeance, and we will have to suffer another week or so of the white stuff. Isn't living in the prairies grand...:sarcasm:

This bring me to the Jets vs. Sens game tonight. Ottawa won the last match in Winnipeg 5-2 and now it is time for some...

I mean seriously, Ottawa is 26-39-6 and are 4-5-1 in their last ten games, including a 5-1 loss to the Rags in New York last night. The Jets are coming off of a 5-4 OT loss to the league leading Colorado Avalanche, where they showed some life to take the game into overtime. They are currently 33-28-11 and are seven points behind the Dallas Stars for the final Wild Card spot. In their last ten games, Winnipeg is 5-4-1. Our playoff chances are fading fast, so a win tonight would be just the thing to turn our chances around...

We need to show Ottawa that the last game was just a fluke, that the Jets are the better team. They need to slap them around...

Yeah... Lets keep playing Helly 'cause....

Well, they better play Comrie against the Habs then.

According to Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg Free Press in his morning media availability interim head coach Dave Lowry said that Wheeler wouldn’t play tonight against the Senators and he also labeled the Jets captain as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Habs in Montreal.

Interestingly in Jeff’s tweet from Ottawa he included this “Interim head coach Dave Lowry said he’s on the trip as part of his medical treatment”.

Not expecting a strong effort from the Jets, team seems incapable of string together two strong performances in a row. Expecting the Jets to be outworked by the Sens and the score will only be determined on how well Helly plays!
