Scary week! I know they control their own destiny but I think they’re going to need help (losses) from other teams to keep their spot.

Montreal definitely controls their fate, but they definitely need help from the out of town scoreboard.

One positive is that they have pulled away from some teams they were in a battle with coming out of the 4 Nations. Flyers, Pens & Bruins have fallen behind. Before, they were competing against 7 teams, with them having to leapfrog like 4 of them. Now they've leapfrogged all of them except for the Sens and there are like 4 teams to really pay attention to (NYR, NYI, CBJ & DET).
