Y’all don’t believe me, but the habs are going to make the playoffs.

everyone keeps talking about a magic number, but they don’t need a magic number, they just need to outperform Florida and Toronto until the end of the year which is totally feasible.

Hughes is 20 dude...not barely 18.
Makar is 21. Late 20s in the POs last year when he joined Colorado.
Suzuki is 20.
Barzal was 20.
Pettersson was 20.
Barkov is the only one you mentioned who was also 18 and it took him a few years to come into his own. He really stepped into a next level just last year.

But I don't know how pointing to different players/people somehow means that KK himself was ready for it. I'm basing myself on his actual play, last year and this year. The kid was not ready.
The thing is, all those kids had/have flaws. Whats being ready ? Why wasn't KK ready ?

KK was a 6'3 kid with all the talent in the world, surely, hes not at his peak, but he couldve done much better than what weve seen in the last two years.

And Buffalo... We need those 3 teams to shit to bed hard and the Habs to do well. It's unrealistic.

Another terrible game by Drouin.

A repeat of last year, the line that is stuck with him doesn't do jack shit.

There's no justifying moving Danault or Domi away from the center positions to give it to KK.
KK looked like hot garbage this year. Last season, he did well, but I don't think he would have done better had he been less sheltered with tougher assignments, and again, made no sense to remove Danault or Domi at the time.
