Well....losers of 2 in a row and it is absolute crunch time. This is the ultimate anti-tank game.

Best case scenarios for the tankers....a regular time loss gives Vancouver the two points in their race with Calgary and we get nothing.

Best case scenario for the playoffs. Overtime win.

Worst case scenario for all of the old guys on this board.....really no chance we even see the game

Best case scenario for all of the old guys on this board....game goes to overtime and coincides with the first pee of the night to catch the OT before going back to bed.

Late game....Tuesday night......March break. Let's f***ing go!!!!!

I don’t expect Vancouver to play a tight defensive style like Calgary so there’s that. Maybe it’s going to be exciting enough to keep the old boys awake

Before the 22:00 start there’s some games to keep an eye on :

Rangers vs Jets - Jets in regulation please

BlueJackets vs Devils - No OT, NJ win

Senators vs Flyers - Michkov do us a solid, Regulation win Flyers pls.

Marchand vs Bruins - could be fun to watch

As a nucks fan first, half francophone second, an ot win would be good.

Who would have thought that a game in March would have wildcard implications for both teams? The nucks won the Pacific last year and the Habs definitely didn't win the Atlantic but injuries are the great equalizer and hab fans know all about losing their #1 goalie for a season among others.
I take back all the shit I talked about hab fans complaining about injuries awhile back.
Also feel bad for dissing your coach, at least he hasnt sucked all the scoring a d creativity from basically every single forward but hey we are like one of the best defensive teams, super fun to watch 2-1 games every night.

Lol. We are a far better defensive team than Calgary and just as boring, especially without Quinn.

We give up very few shots, never turn the puck over and sacrifice all offense for defense.
I bitch about how boring we are but this defense and a healthy Demko and we would be digging for tops in the west.
Our entre offense is dump and retrieve and score off a tip in or rebound off a point shot.
Tochett has killed what was once a really fun team to watch but in fairness given all the injuries to key players it's pretty good to be still in the hunt without Demko all year with a goalie with a 905 save%

Damn, better be ready for another snoozefest then. Other than our first line, we don’t play any offense lately.

Canucks are pretty conservative. You might be getting a different idea because the last meeting with them was a barn burner but that was not the norm.

They are entering a week with a couple back to backs and probably see this game as must win just like the flames did.

Usually when the habs come out to Vancouver in recent years, they have been out of the race, so this is fun.

The game Montreal and Vancouver played on Jan. 6th was one of the best games this season. Hutson was unbelievable that game and led a 3rd period comeback before the Habs won in OT. Hope we get some more entertainment like that tonight. I'll probably stay up for this one but not for tomorrows game.

I know what's going to happen down this stretch. The team is going to play for not losing and most games will go down in goals and feature lots of decisions in OT. Boring hockey 101: I bet Marty goes with the 1-3-1.

Chips are down, maybe time to do the Money Chant from Wolf of Wall Street.

It does look like an over-dramatic bunch of doofusses sold and it's about to be picked up by the rest of the crowd. :D

Unfortunately it looks like my account stood pat, and I'm about to lose as well.. Damn..

Yea I stopped following the Nucks this year, seemed like every game against them from Habs perspective since the covid season have been really fun

I went to a game in Vancouver last year in early January against the Sens, the 2nd of Jan I think and it was also a lot of fun. They won 6-3 and werent playing any type of defense, they almost choked a 5-0 lead but Demko was amazing

I don't like our chances of winning if Laine is not playing.
Laine did not exactly come out of Columbus healthy. We’re probably now seeing some unresolved issues that perhaps can be addressed by Habs medical staff doing a more thorough evaluation and closer monitoring. It’s definitely concerning.
