Those were the days

No Josi tonight.
They have a pretty brutal looking defense without Josi. Englund I believe is the guy who injured Vilardi last year, with the Kings. So he might have a target on him.

Still no moves for the Jets today, I wonder if JAD gets a game in. Seems like he would be a guy who could smash a few people on the forecheck.

It wasn't that long ago when a Predators - Jets game was must see TV.

Preds were a model franchise for drafting and developing good teams year after year. Seems weird to see them where they are now.

Hopefully we kick some ass tonight and keep this train rolling.

Amazing streak. Those weren't the best opponents, particularly the sharks and Ottawa. The good news, our worst player is a 3rd pair LD in limited ice time. We could definitely add a little size and sand paper if we are going to survive in the playoffs.

Do JAD and Heinola play tonight?

Last game of the season series. Jets up 2-1.

Vilardi with 3 goals in 3 games vs Nashville this season and 5 goals in 8 games for his career.

Jets have 42 wins in 59 games. There are only 4 teams in NHL history to have more wins through 59 games of a season.

Jets did not score a PP goal last game meaning they have gone scoreless on the PP in 4 straight games for the first time this season.

Jets are 1-4-0 on the 2nd of B2B's this season, but did win their latest vs Colorado 3-0.

Jets are 6-0-0 in February and have a chance to sweep the month with a win tonight. 5 other teams have won all their February games in NHL history.

Jets have held opponents to 2 or less goals in 13 of the past 18 games.

Jets have allowed a total of 5 3rd period shots in the previous 2 games (3 vs SJS and 2 vs OTT).

Cole Perfetti is playing his 200th NHL game tonight and is 2 points shy of passing his previous best of 38 points.

Haven't seen or heard of this being updated. The tweet is dated Dec 30/24. Helle is currently on an 8 game winning streak (Jan 22 - Feb 26) which would give him 4, six game winning streaks for the season.

Lets Go Jets!!!
This is the real test
2nd of back to back gane on the road,,,

I would assume Comrie starts?
If I had a nickel every time I heard ... "this is the real test" ... I could buy the Jets hockey team.
The Jets have passed all the tests ... the next real test will be game 7 in the Stanley Cup final.:D

I wonder if the Jets will let him try for it if he gets close. I always hear "gotta keep him fresh for the playoffs, he tires out come playoff time" which i think is bullshit and Hellebuyck himself has said as much. Personally i think 65 games in or around is fine for/with him. Here is a block of regular season games played by Brodeur in his prime:

Two Stanley Cups sprinkled in there with 20+ games played in the playoffs. Im not worried about Helle bring tired after 65 games.

In Brodeur's time, we also only used to pull the goalie with 60-90 seconds left on the clock, but we know now that's far from optimal.

Every goalie thinks they're capable of playing 82 starts. But we know now that the optimal usage is much closer to 2/3rds than it is for numbers like Brodeurs.

Just saw Josi is out with injury?

Why is every team losing their top players before playing the Jets? Guess it’s just that time of year…
