I'm having an argument with a friend.

Leafs fans: If the Leafs lose in 7 what are the odds Keefe would not return?
ZERO chance he returns.

There will be carnage. Dubas also gone.

Rogers 'half'-owns the team. They can't afford the behemoth TV deal and allow for failure.

Also, look forward to major trades.

Basically have to play the hardest game of the series, push hard for the first 10 minutes and get a quick lead. Hit them hard, frustrate them, get an insurance goal and skate the will out of them. We need the Game 1 effort and the 2nd and 3rd period in Game 5. Don't want to go back to Toronto.

I disagree with BigBlu. It depends on how they lose. I’d say 50/50. We did just have a record season

We have not maximized the once in a generation Matthews pick (so far). And we only have him for sure for 2 more... Time's a wasting and a BIG opportunity fading. This is the pros. People should answer.

But, it's a big "if" out there. Hoping for a Masai/Lowry-esque parade this summer!

I want this series over in game 6.

Finish them. Do it. Show the killer instinct

We can argue talent, skill, position by position comparisons etc. but one clear advantage the Leafs have is their speed.

If they go out in game six and use their speed on every shift they will have a sizeable advantage and it will force T.B into penalties (if the game is called straight).

The lack of killer instinct has been the main source of criticism of this team for six years. Once sgain, they shouldn't need any more motivatioin other than knowing that a win sends them to the second round.

funny how so many said a few weeks ago that this series was going 7... and here we are.... stretching it to 7

it explains why both teams have taken a night off and been blown out on at least one game each in this series... stretchin er out to 7

game 7 in toronto on a saturday night?? no way they let that one pass.

it's going 7. like it's already written, this is as predictable as a clock.

lol at anyone who's getting their hopes up for tomorrow night. you're in for another heartache. because this is in no way done tomorrow, both teams are already prepping for saturday night

@Oscar Peterson has work on Saturday evening so yes this is ending tomorrow night. Leafs wouldn't do him dirty like that.

Something I haven’t seen yet… It needs to happen… Matthews being the best player on the ice the entire game.

Real MVPs do this quite consistently, and he needs to do it just one game and he can be a legend, at least for one series.
