Apparently shot attempts were 93-39 last night in our favor. Wow!
yep, we were all over them, but again, the boys have a hard time putting it in the net. We really need to get to that 3 goal metric. These 2-1 games keep me on the edge of my seat, but can we mix in a drubbing 5-1 or 6-1 every once in a while to calm the nerves

I know that Maccelli is having a tough year, like Crouse, and AT sat him. Why not insert him back into the lineup like he did Couse?

Who knows, but I hate to trade a player on a down year as most times the return is not good. Maccelli is still young and I think he can bounce back.
I said it in the first few games of the season and I will say it again. Something is very off with Maccelli. Every thing about his game is slower this year as compared to last season. His first stride is slower, his top speed is slower, his stick handling is slower, his decision making is slower. I keep hoping we find out he has been dealing with some injury all season that has caused this. At least then we would have some explanation and some hope that it gets better with rest.

I agree with this...different player this season...and like you I have no idea why. He hasn't even had the same 'vision' that he had in the previous seasons.

Crouse, Maccelli and Bugstad were at nights the best line last year. All three have been not very good this year. Why? Bugstad is his former self after coming back from injury. So what happened to Crouse and Maccelli? Most times it's the player that has to get his head out of his ass, but when you have two players that were on the same line sucking ass I think coaching has to take some responsibility. I could be totally off base here but something sure doesn't seem right.

Coaches need to put players in a position to succeed, not sure Bear is doing that here. Part of this might be us having more talent so Crouse/Maccelli are being put in less ideal positions to score versus last year. They didn't both all of a sudden lose their skills as players, both are still young and not injured. I would not want them to go at the TDL, maybe this summer either can be traded as part of a package to upgrade our C position, although your boy Hayton has been pretty good lately:)

Crouse basically relied on Maccelli for any point production. Maccelli hasn’t been able to create space, like he did last season and needs to find an another/alternate means of creating space.
Bugs was t as reliant on Maccelli, so I wonder if he’s at career end, or if the other two being of is effecting him.
That’s the take on lack of points anyhow.
