I have time for one of them on the team (Giroux) but both is overkill.Giroux and Perron are cooked.

There was no instigator. Hey-zues, let it go.Im pretty clearly saying there should have been an instigator, that's all. so yeah, we should have gotten a pp. Kleven would still be hurt, but at least we'd have gotten something out of it.
Giroux and Perron are cooked.
we could certainly use some selfish shootersnothing like passing up a shot from the high slot to dump it off to the defensemen at the blue line
Giving 2 years to Perron is bonkers in hindsight.
Yeah a one year contract would have been more than enough. If he wasn't coming here without 2 years, then so be it.
Harsh on Giroux to lump those two together. Obviously Giroux is a shadow of what he once was, but Perron has 1 even-strength point all year. This is his 20th game!Giroux and Perron are cooked.
How does Staios terminate that contract?? St. Louis was able to terminate Saad's contract...how do the Sens get out from Perron's?Giving 2 years to Perron is bonkers in hindsight. Who were we competing with at a 4M salary?
Maybe it was part of the plan to appeal to the rabid Quebec City Sens fanbase. Look a French speaker!

Genuinely think Perron may be bought out this summer. Doesn't look like he has anything to contribute any longer.

Hard to gauge his season with all that's been going on for him, idk if he can bounce back but I'm pulling for him to turn it around. Not gonna lie I was somewhat happy about the signing, and it does seem like that injury he suffered will probably end his career after this contract as he can't even shoot anymore. Staios would probably have been able to trade him at the deadline if he didn't have that extra year.
Presumably Perron would have to have done something contrary to team standards. I suppose Ottawa media could turn on him and he'd want out, nothing to lose here really except maybe some overpayment down the road from other free agents. How does Staios terminate that contract?? Ya, idk, trying to void the contract of a guy whos newborn had severe issues, right at the start of training camp is the kind of thing I suspect other player, on and off your team, might take note of. Best to just treat the guy respectfullyPresumably Perron would have to have done something contrary to team standards. It's one thing to miss a one-timer, which he does constantly. Earlier in the game he took the time to tee up a shot, position the puck with a month of Sundays to shoot, and he missed the effing net!Just imagine if Hamonic could hit the net...what a Dman he would be
