Wonder if Philly is gonna start their backup...wait, do they even have a #1 goalie? All their goalies are- never mind, expecting a hatty from Carts.

30 goals. Every little goal counts these days. 2 were empty net goals though.

2 games with 4 goals (2-0) 1 en
2 games with 3 goals (1-1) 1 en
5 games with 2 goals (0-4-1)
6 games with 1 goal (2-3-1)
4 games with 0 goals (0-4)

1.58 goals per game.

Carter - 9 (2 empty net goals)
Kopitar - 5
Brown - 3
Williams/Stoll/Lewis - 2 each
Richards/King - 1 each
Doughty/Muzzin/Martinez/Mitchell/Regehr - 1 each

The Defense not scoring is a big concern....

Defense or goaltending doesn't matter, the Kings struggle equally against all competition. There's a reason the Kings have played against backup goaltenders in five of their last seven games. And in those five games they scored a total of five goals.

I had to look that stat up myself, awful.
 
Well then, something's got to break here lol. The Flyers haven't allowed less than three goals against in like 15 games. It's been tough to watch.

Edit: three goals or more allowed in 11 of the last 12. Not as bad as I thought, but still terrible.
 
Dear Kings Organ-eye-zation,

On December 11, 1976, my dad took me to my first live NHL game. It was a 4-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. Today, I'm taking my 4-year old son to his first game with the family. For history not to repeat itself, you'll need pull something straight out of your collective ***** for my little guy. I will be wearing my Dustin Brown jersey. i will be at least a little bit embarrassed about doing so, but if there's any chance he will finally have a productive game, I wanna be able to say to my son that it was daddy's jersey and your presence at the game that got him out of his more than season long funk. I'm counting on you to make today special for us.

Please don't let me go 0-2 in first games (actually 0-3, the first game I went to with my wife, you lost also, enough already).

Win one for the Bipper!

Carter is going to have a great game today I'm thinking. Still not very optomistic though, but we'll see. GO KINGS GO!!!

Come on guys whats with all the negativity? The Kings aren't going to get shut-out, jesus. Let's be realistic. Kopi will score within the first 15 minutes of the game, and then won't score another.

I'm saying 3-1 Flyers. :p:
